Prepare yourself for an entire night of fear at Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park — America’s #1 Haunted Scream Park!
Celebrating our 29th season in 2026, Land of Illusion is bigger, darker, and more intense than ever. This isn’t a haunted house you walk through once and head home. Land of Illusion is a full-scale Halloween destination packed with haunted attractions, live entertainment, food, drinks, rides, shopping, and nonstop action from the moment the gates open until the final scream of the night.
Take on SIX haunted attractions, each delivering a completely different experience:
Middletown Haunted Trail – Our legendary 1-mile-long outdoor haunted trail, featuring massive scenes, terrifying characters, and one of our biggest investments ever — nearly half a million dollars poured into ONE incredible new scene for 2026.
Dr. Psycho’s Haunted Estate – Enter the twisted world of Dr. Psycho, where madness has taken over and there may be no way out.
Temple of Terror – Step inside an ancient nightmare filled with darkness, creatures, and horrors waiting around every corner.
Killer Klowns Haunted Maze – Twisted, colorful, chaotic, and completely unpredictable. These aren’t the kind of clowns you want at your birthday party.
Phobia – Face your fears as you make your way through an attraction designed to discover exactly what makes you uncomfortable.
LIGHT’S OUT – Darkness changes everything. Enter if you dare and discover what happens when you can’t see what’s waiting for you.
But the haunted attractions are only the beginning. Every weekend at Land of Illusion brings a different experience with special themed events including Opening Weekend, Day of the Dead, Vampire Weekend, Classic Horror Weekend, EDM Weekend, KLOWN Invasion Weekend, our 10th Anniversary Witches Weekend, Festival of Freaks Week, and the return of our Christmas Haunt on November 7.
Throughout the night, catch live entertainment at the Stage of Rage, grab something to eat from favorites including Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken and Don’s Pizza, visit the VooDoo Lounge for a full bar and specialty themed drinks, shop the Ghostly Gift Shop and Full Moon Markets, ride the rides, and explore everything happening throughout the scream park.
And you won’t be alone.
More than 200 monsters, creatures, killers, clowns, and characters are waiting throughout Land of Illusion to make sure nowhere feels completely safe.
For 29 seasons, Land of Illusion has been creating nightmares in Middletown, Ohio — conveniently located between Cincinnati and Dayton and drawing horror fans from across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and beyond.
