Jim Day (AKA Jim Carey) puts on a full-blast, full- forward, full-fun show every morning. That’s why his number one rule is: “It’s never a Monday.” His show was the number one country show in Tulsa (KWEN), as well as the number one or two show overall. He’s had success in Nashville at WSM-FM and was the number two show in Dayton (WHKO) for three years and most recently worked at WIL, St Louis.

Jim’s life revolves around his wife, two kids and dog. He’s able to bring those experiences to the show every day. Jim loves to talk with his listeners about family issues, local happenings and quirky national things while bringing “it” back home and put a local twist on everything.
Jim is a three-time ACM and four-time Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Personality of the Year nominee. He’s won the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Promotion of the Year Award three times and has been honored by The Children’s Miracle Network for raising $1.5 million and received multiple awards for his CMN Radiothons.
All this said, nothing compares to when Jim became a School Bus Driver. Looking for
something to do while he was unemployed for 11 months, he stepped out of his comfort zone and became a School Bus Driver (AKA “The Cool Bus Driver”). Every day he was handed a sheet of directions, and told to “pick up the kids”. Jim says he’s never been so scared in his life, but “I’m proud of what I did. Proud of not only learning something new, but also standing up and being a Man for my family when they needed it. That’s a good feeling and I’m glad God gave me the challenge.”
