Frequent hotel guests are used to hearing concierges say something along the lines of, "anything we can do to make your stay better, don't hesitate to ask," but according to a new survey, some guests take that too literally. Employees at British Best Western hotels were given a list of the strangest guest requests, and a patron who asked for a ferret so he wouldn't attend a party alone topped the list.
Other notable mentions included, "a room with a sea view" -- some 107 miles from the nearest shoreline -- an extra bed for a doll, and a ghost to keep the guest company, according to the U.K. website Metro.
