It’s no wonder Time Magazine listed her as one of the top 100 most influential people not once but TWICE!

You’ve seen her on American Idol, Platinum Hit and now debut as Roxie in Chicago. As one of the most successful contemporary songwriters and music executives in the world, Kara’s songs have appeared on more than 159 million albums. Kara is also an established record producer, record executive, and music publisher. And now you can add author to the list as she recently released her book “A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love and American Idol” this past April.

 

Tuesday 4/17/12 - Vy Higgensen

A visionary, Vy Higginsen has always reached for the stars. Seeing no limitations in accomplishing all she sets her mind to, Vy has achieved some very impressive milestones including being the first black female radio personality in the prime time New York City market. She was also the first woman in advertising sales at Ebony magazine, the first black woman to produce a drama on Broadway and the first black female writer, producer, director of the longest-running Off-Broadway musical in the history of American theatre. Along with this Vy is the CEO of The Mama Foundation as featured on 60 minutes, ordained as a minister and has been named a Harlem Hero in “Harlem Is”.

Andie MacDowell has established herself as an accomplished actress in a career that shows no signs of slowing down. Her undeniable charm and talent has resulted in worldwide recognition. She has acted in hits such as “Groundhog Day”, “St Elmo’s Fire”, and “Unstrung Heroes”. She earned the title of #1 female box office draw worldwide with her performance in “Four Weddings and a Funeral” as well as receiving Los Angeles Film Critics Award for Best Actress as well as a Golden Globe nomination for “Sex, Lies and Videotape”.
